This Privacy Notice explains how AFK Artifact Co ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use BuildPlan Pro (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for the information described below.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, company name, email address, password (stored hashed).
• Authentication data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile identifier from the provider.
• Customer content: projects, tasks, schedules, jobsites, team members, and notes you create in the Service.
• Support communications: messages you send to us by email or in-app.
• Usage & device data: log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used for security and to improve the Service.
• Cookies: essential cookies for sign-in and session management; we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Payment information (card details, billing address) is collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe, and is not collected or stored by us.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and manage your account, and to provide the Service (legal basis: performance of contract);
• To process subscriptions and provide receipts via our payment provider (contract);
• To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain logs (legitimate interests);
• To respond to support requests (contract / legitimate interests);
• To send essential service notices, such as billing and security messages (contract / legal obligation);
• To improve the Service through aggregated analytics (legitimate interests);
• To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting (legal obligation).

3. Sharing of Information

We share personal data only with:

• Stripe, our payment provider, for payment processing, tax calculation, invoicing, and subscription management;
• Service providers / subprocessors who help us host and operate the Service (hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, error monitoring, analytics);
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) as needed;
• Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. International Transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and customer content for as long as your account is active. After account closure we delete or anonymise the data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Request deletion of your data;
• Restrict or object to certain processing;
• Receive a portable copy of your data;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

8. Children

The Service is intended for use by businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We may also use privacy-friendly product analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
